This website is produced and published by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company called Southside Media.
It's designed to give local people, voluntary orgnisations and community groups the chance to make the news for themselves. We want you to tell us what's important to you.
You can create your own blog to tell people about your life and thoughts about the community. You can post news articles telling people about events or stories that have happened. You can upload photos or videos. You can get in touch with staff at Southside Media to give them tip-offs about stories.
And once you've added content to the website, it can be commented on by other users - and you can comment on what they've added.
The idea is to help you get to know your neighbours and get more active in the community.
Unlike most big media companies, where profits go to shareholders, all the money we raise in sales and advertising is used to support the work we do for the community and to invest in making it better.
